VegTV was on the floor of the Baltimore Convention Center checking out the latest and greatest plant based products at the 33rd annual Natural Products Expo East again this year.
Plant based products were everywhere as producers respond to consumer demand for a holistic path to wellness, fueling demand for food, beverage and supplement products that promote sleep, hydration and mental clarity.
There were activities for the attendees like yoga and breakfast networking events and lectures. We covered a talk by Dr Raphael Kellman, author of The Microbiome Diet, where he spoke about the importance of prebiotic and probiotic interaction in the gut microbiome.

Generally referred to as, Expo West, the world’s largest natural, organic and healthy products event had another record setting year, hosting more than 85,000 attendees. Visitors from all over the world flocked to the show in the newly expanded Anaheim venue, which encompassed the entire Anaheim Convention Center.
Coming home to a fully cooked one-dish supper was once only possible if someone else cooked the meal for you. Having a slow cooker means that with a minimum of time and preparation you can have a delicious meal waiting at the end of the day.
Meals made in a crockpot are easy to assemble and especially useful for dishes that improve with long simmering. Stews are an obvious choice, as flavors deepen and sauces thicken during slow cooking.
